that actually looks creepy; basic translation: the Jesus cross in the character is a shield and there’s an eye because “during battle, soldiers need the shield to protect them as they advance.” chinese love metaphors. so basically means repetition bc soldiers always need this shield when advancing/fighting. chinese are so smart!

⺩+ 睘 = 環

why does this look creepy as well? anyways, the translation says that 睘 has 罒 which means eyes and 2 other components; in total, it represents someone who opens their eyes to enjoy the VERY CREEPY THINGIE in front of him/her. to each their own i guess
